The Secret by Rhonda Byrne - Have You Read It?

When I first started to get involved with Internet Marketing, I was told about some books I should read and one of those was The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.

Well I found The Secret in my local book shop and bought it. I have to admit that once I started reading it I couldn't put it down, and as this was a low period for me it filled me with inspiration.

The scholar's from times gone by and all the successful businessman, and personal coaches from today are using The Secret in their lives now. I mean, if some of the greatest people in history believed in it then who am I to disagree. People like Shakespeare, Isaac Newton, Beethoven, Lincoln, Einstein and the list goes on.

It is all based around the Law of Attraction, which states that if you always have bad thoughts then that's what you will always attract, if you always feel depressed then that's what you will attract, and if you only think about debt then that's what you will attract. Think and believe about wealth and you will attract it, don't question how, the Universe will find a way - Hard to believe for the skeptics among us.

OK yes we all know the benefits of positive thinking but unless you have inspiration from somewhere, it's so hard to do especially as we all know in this day and age it is gloom and despair; the world recession, etcetera. It's easy to sit and hold your head in your hands, but will that help? Not one little bit.

So lets tell you about what has happened to me since I started reading The Secret:

The first time I read it I was on cloud nine, full of positive thoughts and I even tried the car parking space trick - yes it did work, coincidence? Maybe, but it happened almost every time. But then I had some serious money and personal issues and I forgot about The Secret until recently.

To supplement my income, as yet I do not earn enough money from my Internet Marketing endeavors, I do cabbing and that has been very slow. So as I was waiting around for jobs I started reading The Secret again and on this particular occasion I had been waiting 2 hours and still no job. So I closed the book and kept saying to myself "You will get a good job now", I kept saying it to myself, "The Secret will take care of me", stupid you might think, but what did I have to lose.

I left the area I was parked in, now do I turn left or right, do I stop here, all these questions but I trusted my instincts and then, beep beep beep my on board computer had received a job, and as I opened it....wow a 50 job.

I was thrilled and another strange coincidence, or not? Was it as the last passenger reached their destination we somehow mentioned The Secret and he said that since he has read and believed he has had a 3,000 Tax rebate, and as an actor has just won a new contract for a TV series.

Well after this job straight away another job came down 30 and this happened 3 more times in the space of 2 hours. Is this just a coincidence or something deeper?

I have been trying this since last Friday night and you know what instead of sitting there thinking the next job will be a bad one, because remember think a bad job and the Genie say's "your wish is my command" and a bad job you will receive.

Now I visualise the on board computer, and in my mind imagine seeing a good job on the screen, it work's, but you have to believe.

All I need now is to work harder at the Internet Marketing Business and believe it will all come to me.

This is my Internet Marketing for Newbies product a Home Study Course where you get full video tuition for every strategy you will ever need to be a success at working from home. This comes with a full no questions asked money back guarantee so you really have nothing to lose.

Feng Shui and Symbols - What You Have in Your House Says a Lot About You

What does a broken statue of a rooster have to do with Feng Shui? Feng Shui teaches us that everything in our house is a reflection of what is in our mind. Symbolically speaking, your house and the things in it reflects your thoughts, feelings, and spirit.

So let's get back to that rooster. One of my clients had recently separated from her husband. I noticed that a statue of a large bird was directly facing her bed, so it was probably the first thing she saw when getting up in the morning. Upon closer examination, I noticed two things; first, one of the legs had previously been broken and was wrapped in what appeared to be a cast. Second, I realized that it was not a chicken; it was a rooster. Unfortunately, the coxcomb on the top of the head had broken off, probably in the same fall that broke the leg of the statue.

I examined this unfortunate art piece for a moment and then said to my client, "Do you realize that the first thing you see in the morning is a broken cock?"

After I picked her up from the floor (she was laughing so much she just collapsed), she gasped out, "You have no idea of how perfect that observation is." Not wanting to really know much more, I suggested we send out the broken rooster for repair. We then talked about what she really wanted to see first thing in the morning; it was her flute and music and a picture of her daughter.

Another client was having a hard time keeping relationships with men going. Visiting her apartment was like seeing a shrine to her daughter. Everywhere was a mother/daughter photograph. It felt like she was already in a relationship and there was no room for any other one to grow.

Everything that you choose to surround yourself with has symbolic meaning and reflects something about your life. Whether intentional or not, all those objects, pictures, photographs, and pieces of furniture resonate with information about you. Take a look around at your house. What is the first thing you see when you enter your home? When you get up in the morning? When you sit down to eat? Do those objects support you in living your best life? Observe what you have around you and then experiment. See how you feel swapping out the images that surround you for other ones that are a better reflection of who you are and where you want to go. I've seen this simple action do amazing things to improve people's lives.

Motivation and Positive Thinking - Self Help Tips

There are many ways to improve self-motivation but very few that seem universal.

Many people tend to look at the outside, and tend to ignore the inside where all people hold their esteem. There are 3 simple rules to live by are the three- D's. Desire, Determination , & Dedication. The first step would be to ask if feel the desire to improve yourself! The second step is to put forth effort to overcome. Then finally, you must be dedicated to see to achieving the success that you desire.

If you can remember those three simple- D's, they will inspire so much passion in you to obtain what ever you seek! Motivation is key to what ever we do in life. If we are feeling unmotivated then we feel lethargic. If you are motivated you can really bring excitement and thrill into the most simple tasks. Positive thinking is the key to finding motivation in everything you do! It starts with waking up and thanking the lord for another day. Every day that you wake up, you should have goals to obtain that day. Make it a challenge to yourself that day, you must complete those missions. It will bring more excitement and something to drive your emotions that day.

The four things I try to obtain each day are as follows; Try to make someone laugh Try to read and learn something new and intellectual. Try to exercise and improve your energy. Then try to make a new connection with someone or rekindle an old one. Well I hope this brings some basic motivation spikes that will be implemented for your future success.

Remember that it is all a mindset you need to place yourself in!

Opportunity Knocks

Does opportunity knock or are we receptive to the opportunities which have been there, but we did not consciously connect with them before.

Staying connected to opportunities is the practice of combining habit creation (a consistent and persistent set of actions towards a goal or desire) and the Law of Attraction (giving your attention, energy, and focus to your desire) to manifest anything you want. When you create a focus of seeing opportunities and allowing the principles of the Law of Attraction to guide your way, it makes it nearly impossible to not get exactly what you want.

Sometimes we focus our thoughts on what we dont like in our life or what we dont want; this simply creates more of the same results. If you understand how important it is to consciously choose the thoughts you hold each day; to keep your thoughts and actions focused on what you really want to attract into your life; you will. It is all up to you. For a long time people have weighed evidence, analyzed and taken measurements to answer the question, What do I want? It is now clear that this was the wrong question. The right question is, What thoughts will create what I want?" Take charge of your thoughts, and youll take charge of your life. Opportunity is present at all timesit is contained in The Law of Abundance and the Law of Attraction.

When we feel successful we are more likely to take calculated risks, which promise abundant rewardsalbeit they also carry the potential for failure. Your goals are part of your ongoing journey of self-discovery rather than an endpoint. Thus, when you feel successful you are more likely to see the possibilities versus focusing on the impossibilities.

When you are comfortable extending yourself beyond the borders of your limited comfort zones in order to explore new regions of accomplishment, the resultant endeavors may not be successful, but the open-mindedness you cultivate within yourself will ensure you stay focused on what you desire to achieve. Staying focused ensures you will take advantage of the opportunities when you recognize them. Furthermore, by staying focused you invite opportunity into your life when you recognize that the scope of your potential is limited only by your level of self-belief.

Opportunity is knocking every minuteWhat are you doing with yours?

Religious Views Based From Fear

I was told by an advertising executive one day that all of your advertisements need to deliver some sort of hope for the people you're trying to persuade into buying your products. Funny, if you think about it, I got some and great advice about life from someone in the advertisement business.

Most people are looking for hope, in everything they do. Most of our daily activities revolve around hope and this gives our lives some sort of direction. If you believe in an almighty being and creator of the universe, often you will try to please him, ....or her, ....or it, in hopes of entering the kingdom of heaven or the promised land after you die.

Often our fears will increase our levels of hoping, the fear of doing something against your religion can often inspire you to become a more spiritual person, a good and moral person. Fear of making the wrong choices will inspire us to make better, moral choices, all for the sake of acquiring a ticket to Heaven or Nirvana. You're hoping, your good deeds on earth will earn you a place in heaven.

Most people are afraid of dying and leaving this world, for good. They don't know where they're going and that seems to scare most people. If we can offer someone a little hope, that they are going to a much better place than here, we can often ease the pain and suffering associated with death. I have to admit, most religions of the world promise another world, after we're done with this one.

If you're living a honest and moral life with the hopes of living a bountiful life in heaven, could you be wrong. What if you're seeking Hope in the wrong religion? If you're a Christian and the Hindus are right and you're wrong, do you get to enter there eternal kingdom.

Think about this question, I'm about to ask you. What if spend your whole life studying your religion and it's wrong? There is no heaven and when you die, that's the end of your existence

Have you ever wondered why you believe in your religion and someone in another country or even a couple of miles away believes in something entirely different.

Don't get mad at me or yourself, simply think about the question for a while, this question has transformed my life and put me on a wonderful spiritual path of learning.

Positive Action - Delete Your Personal History And Let Go Of Self-Limiting Beliefs

Letting go of anything is never easy. We all form a set of beliefs about ourselves at a very early age. We may not even be sure where those beliefs came from - they've just always been there, and they drive the way we think and behave.

We use this belief system to justify what we do and how we feel. We say things like, "My parents were alcoholics," "My spouse left me," "I lost my job," "Things aren't like they used to be," and use them as reasons why can't get on with our lives.

We focus on the things that have been done to us in the past, and we form a bond with those experiences. But, all the excuses in the world will never be able to erase the past. We must accept it and move on.

Wayne Dyer uses the metaphor of the wake of a boat. The wake is the trail left behind the boat. It's not the wake that moves the boat forward.

The same is true with the wake of your life. If you stay in the wake and hang on to your past experiences - your suffering, your hurt, your anger, your successes or failures - it is impossible to move your life forward.

Here are 3 Positive Action steps that can help you let go of those feelings and beliefs:

  1. Make a list of the things that are keeping you from moving forward. You can't just set it down and walk away from it - it will always be there to come back to. Pick it up, read it, embrace, it, understand it, and accept it. Know that you had to go through those things to be here now. Then toss it.
  2. Remove all labels that you've placed on yourself. The labels limit you. You are not defined by what you have done nor what you have not done.
  3. Write some affirmations (you may use these or write your own) and read them everyday: "I make a commitment to live in the moment" and "I am letting go of my past self-limiting beliefs."

Your history is no longer in your present physical reality. Let it go, and choose to live "now."

Overcoming Difficulties Talking

Primal Leadership - A Book Summary

Primal leadership takes center stage in this book. This concept goes beyond the set of conventional competencies on the making of a leader. Beyond bottom line figures, this book takes a leap forward with the concept of primal leadership through a keen and in-depth understanding of emotional intelligence and its link to leading and building emotionally intelligent organizations.

The authors explore the idea of leadership as an emotional
function. They propose that the fundamental task of a leader is to create resonance at work, thereby unleashing positive traits and attributes in people. Emotionally intelligent leaders bring organizational success to the fore because they inspire, motivate and foster commitment in people.

Harness the power of primal leadership in this book and bring out the emotionally intelligent leader in you.

Primal Dimension of Leadership

The use of emotion in leadership functions is a primal task that sets leaders apart. Great leaders move people by channeling emotions in the right direction, whether it is in formulating corporate strategy in the boardroom or a series of action items in the shop floor.

Resonance Effect

The positive channeling of emotions that empowers people to be top performers is called resonance. The culture of resonance brings out the best in people. On the other hand, when leaders negatively drive emotions dissonance is created. Dissonance is not conducive to harmonious working relationships as it can undermine peoples potentials.

Key to Primal Leadership

Emotional intelligence is the foundation of making primal
leadership work. An emotionally intelligent leader knows how to handle himself and his relationship with the people he works with in order to drive up performance.

Good Moods, Good Work

A good mood is essential for a team to function effectively. It is crucial for a leader to foster positive working relationships because emotional conflicts in a group can hamper a teams performance.

A study of CEOs from Fortune 500 companies revealed that
positive overall mood of top management people leads to better cooperation and better business performance. This argument takes the view that it is top management that creates the conditions for workers to work well.

Resonant Leader

For emotionally intelligent leaders, resonance comes naturally in their dealings with people. Their actions reinforce synchrony within their team and within the organization. The strength of an emotionally resonant leader lies in the emotional bond he forms which allows people to collaborate with each other even in the face of change and uncertainty.

Four Dimensions of Emotional Intelligence

The creation of resonance is a hallmark of primal leadership that can only be fostered by emotionally intelligent leaders. For a leader to promote prime resonance in a group, it is important to understand the four EI competencies. Interestingly, these competencies are not innately inherent but are learned abilities. According to research, an effective leader typically demonstrates at least one competence among
the four dimensions.

1. Self-Awareness

2. Self-Management

3. Social Awareness

4. Relationship Management

Approaches to Leadership in a Nutshell

1. Visionary

2. Coaching

3. Affiliative

4. Democratic

5. Pacesetting

6. Commanding

The Five Discoveries of Self-Directed Learning

1. First Discovery: My ideal self Who do I want to be?

2. Second Discovery: My real self Who am I? What are my strengths and gaps?

3. Third Discovery: My learning agenda How can I build on my strengths while reducing my gaps?

4. Fourth Discovery: Experimenting with and practicing new behaviors, thoughts, and feelings to the point of mastery.

5. Fifth Discovery: Developing supportive and trusting
relationships that make change possible.

Final Notes

Primal leadership is anchored on emotions. These emotions have underlying neurological explanations to them such as the open loop system. Thus, a leader must work hard to obtain emotional intelligence competencies that will make him a resonant leader
because resonance is the key to primal leadership.

A resonant leader builds a culture of resonance by emonstrating emotionally intelligent abilities that permeate throughout the organization. A resonant leader aims to live a resonant life for him and his people in order to make resonant work. It is this kind of work that builds an emotionally intelligent
organization a kind of organization that can survive the changing business climate because it has built-in processes that can sustain change.

Thought Provoking Religious Ideas on Christianity

Do you ever wonder what ever happened to the Wise men's gifts that were given to Jesus's parents? Nobody ever talks about it and it was never mentioned again in the Bible. If it was mentioned again I would love to have somebody e-mail me some more information on what Joseph and Mary did with the gifts, that were given to the newborn King or in other words Jesus.

I didn't come up with this idea on my own, I was reading a book by George Seaver called Albert Schweitzer "The Man and His Mind." I found the book in a thrift store near Seattle, Washington while on vacation visiting one of my relatives. I heard a lot about Albert Schweitzer from various personal development and spiritual books and thought this book would be give me some insight on the man.

I really had no clue, that I would find something like this within the first few pages.

Here's a quote from the book.

When I was eight my father, at my own request, gave me a New Testament, which I read eagerly. Among the stories which interested me most was that of the Wise Man from the East. What did the parents of Jesus due, I asked myself, with the gold and other valuables that they got from the Wise men? How could they have been poor after that? And that the Wise men should never have troubled themselves again about the child Jesus, was to me uncomprehensible.

Now this is coming from an eight year old child, not someone who has researched biblical scripture their whole lives. What else are we missing in the Bible that doesn't make sense but we were trained to believe in our religions without ever questioning your religion . It's definitely something to think about and the next time you're reading something or listening to the news on TV, try to figure out if it's fact or fiction.

You definitely cannot believe everything you read or hear from outside sources. I heard once that the only things that are truly real are the things that never change. If you think about it, most things change and therefore would not be considered real.

Ponder That for a While.

Did The Indians Have It Right

War Losers Are Criminals - Military Leadership and Something to Think About

How many wars have been fought over different beliefs and religions? I've been alive for less than 50 years and through the span of history this is a very small amount time but yet I noticed certain patterns by studying history and being part of it.

Why do we accept war as a necessity or a need to acquire something or instill a certain belief into someone else? Is it because we know, we are absolutely right and we know for a fact 100% that our way of living is better than theirs? What makes the winner of the war right and the looser wrong?

I was watching a movie that Robert McNamara made called The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara. I never really put two and two together but he mentioned something in the movie that got me thinking. His superior officer mentioned to him one day," You Do Realize Robert, If We Lose the War, We Are Going to Be Tried As War Criminals."

I never really thought that just because we were right and they were wrong, our military leaders could be executed. But were right aren't we and their wrong, isn't this why we were fighting World War II. The Germans and Japanese were wrong in doing horrible things. We tried their military leaders and found them guilty. After they lost the war of course.

I guess when I was a kid playing baseball and my coach told me "That the winner takes all." This also applies to real life, war, beliefs, society and what were forced to belief. If you study the wars throughout history, you will notice that most of the winning sides acquired benefits from the losers and sometimes even property. Makes sense doesn't it, winner takes all.

Losing a war doesn't make you a criminal, if you're trained as a superior leader, doesn't this involve killing people or are there specific guidelines that military leaders should follow. Are there specific rules and did the Americans and English follow these rules during World War II. Sometimes we need to study leadership books to gain knowledge and skills to become a better leader.

The concept of creating war criminals because they have killed others during the war, will probably never make sense to me. War is a horrible and cruel thing to bestowed on any country and with it comes many acts of horror, it's war and there's only one objective and that's to win, at all costs. If were going to put the losing side on trial, shouldn't we also find out more about the crimes the winning side committed during the war.

Six Daily Motivation Tips

How do you achieve a more consistent level of daily motivation? Use the following powerful techniques, beginning at the start of your day.

1. Start The Day Motivated

Have a morning motivation routine. Experiment a bit and see what gets you going. If it has to be coffee, then so be it, although there are probably healthier options. One thing that probably doesn't work is hitting the snooze button on the alarm clock. That just trains your brain and body to pay less attention to the alarm. Try cold showers, energizing music, exercise and anything else that might work for you. Once you find a few things that help you get you ready for the day, work them into a regular routine.

2. Have Worthy Goals

If you have nothing to get excited about, find something. Quit your job, move to another town, make a goal that requires work you will enjoy. You have nothing to lose in your life if there is nothing in it that you want to be doing, so start making changes. Start exploring the possibilities to see which ones might inspire you and make you want to get going each day. Then remind yourself of these important or inspirational goals every morning.

3. Use Fear

We are all motivated by both fear and the promise of rewards, but some of us respond better to fear. You can use this to get yourself moving. In fact, you already do if you sometimes lay there in the morning until the thoughts of what will happen if you don't get up make you finally jump out of bed. Just make it more conscious and planned. Imagine the bad things that will happen if you don't do what needs to be done. This is a very basic psychological technique. You link pain with not acting, so you feel a strong urge to get busy working on your goals.

4. Have Daily Motivation Talks

Almost everyone gets excited and experiences a rise in energy levels when talking about something that is truly important and inspiring to them. This could be cars, self improvement, politics, money or just about anything. Find the "hot" topics that get you excited and start a conversation about them as necessary. This works best if the person you are talking to shares your enthusiasm, but try it with anyone who will listen. Afterwards you should be able to carry that energized and motivated state over to the work at hand.

5. Do Something

Though it may seem ironic, I started writing this article without feeling too motivated (I write more than a hundred articles a year). But I knew that if I just wrote a sentence or two, there would be some momentum created. Sure enough, I am writing easily now, and with some enthusiasm. The point: take any small step. Do anything to start the project or task in front of you - any action towards a goal - and you will feel some degree of motivation building within you.

6. Go Beyond Daily Motivation Tricks

Learn how your brain and body works and you can easily apply that knowledge through "tricks" like those here. However, there is also a natural motivation which arises in us when we are living in a balanced and healthy way. You may be skeptical of the idea at first, but when you see clearly enough what needs to be done, the energy is there. Work on that self awareness and honest inquiry into ones nature, and more and more you'll be able to tap into that natural state of seeing the truth and acting. Then you won't need daily motivation "tricks" or tips.

Developing Wealth Building Habits

If you want to be successful, you need mentors or in other words find people that have succeeded. These people can include the ultra rich like Bill Gates or Warren Buffett, but don't forget about the people around you that have created good wealth building habits.

Some of the people have great advice and will need to be listened to very intently, while others need to be put on a list and never spoken to again. If you're going to be developing wealth building habits, you're going to need some advice from wealthy people. Let me make myself clear, when I'm talking about developing wealth building habits, I'm not talking about spiritual, knowledge, Biblical or religious wealth. I'm talking about making money, as much money as you desire or feel you need.

Wealth building habits start with you. Ask yourself this question "how bad do I want or desire wealth?" Really, really, really bad or are you the kind of person that would like to be rich, but that's as far as it goes. Developing any of these habits does not include sleeping in until 11 o'clock in the morning and then complaining the rest of the day about your finances.

Bill Gates used to work 16 hours a day. How many days a week did he do that? These are the questions you're going to find the answers to. If you're interested in making $50 million, you need to find someone who can teach you, how to make $50 million.

It won't be necessary to contact Warren Buffett but I would advise you to gather as much information about him as possible. Wealth building habits start with learning about wealthy people. If they get up at four o'clock in the morning and read the newspaper until six o'clock, then exercise for 30 minutes and start working at seven o'clock, you need to start doing this also. Developing good wealth building habits over time are what most successful businessman and women have been doing for years. Study their habits and start changing yours.

If you do something every day, it will usually become a habit within 30 days.

Your Power Is Timeless Experience... Get Clear

I was flabbergasted after reading most of the books written by John Harricharan, Your Holiness the Dalai Lama, and Deepak Chopra. I also read many articles and watched TV shows about them.

I discovered our experience doesnt come only from this life we are living right now. You can have spent ten, twenty, thirty or forty years learning and guiding others in your field about things on which you are considered an expert.

However, sometimes an eight-, twelve- or fourteen-year-old child can express words of wisdom to which if we humbly pay attention, we can receive a big lesson in simple words to apply in our life and be successful.

Outstanding examples of evolved souls spreading their experience through words that confused and still confuse those adults who are not open-minded were the young Jesus of Nazareth and Siddhartha Gautama.

For the mainstream way of thinking, this could sound as though it were the remains of an old ideology. Even some modern spiritual Gurus trust in somebody who has a long resume of experience and big corporations recommending her or him.

These intuitive experts cant see the most important thing is your spiritual clearness.

Somebody with a couple of months or one or two years of experience in a certain field of knowledge and who has a clear mind can download a long-time experience from a past life.

As Joe Vitale suggests in his best-selling book Spiritual Marketing when he refers to a past experience with a woman ahead of him in line to attend a seminar,

If you are truly clear about your business, you dont even need business cards. Business just comes to you. Your inner spirit does your market.

He beautifully explains that sometimes, an event such as a seminar is already booked up before the publicity flyers are sent out.

As soon as a person is clear about what he really wants in life and it fits with her purpose for being here on earth, every kind of abundance comes into that life: health, wealth and happy relationships.

Wayne Dyer talks a lot about Satori in his writings, recordings and speeches. It is an instant awakening. Long years of training and meditation are not really necessary.

Dr. Dyers puts it this way, You are complete right now. You dont need anything else to succeed. Even a child is complete in the level he is right now.

Sonia Choquette in her workshops, especially the one called Trust your vibes, raises the spirit of the participants with a spiritual speech, music and songs, and by sharing her vibrating energy with them.

She very openly and clearly says, You dont need another seminar, another workshop, read another book. You are complete and perfect souls right now. Wake up. Do your job. Let your happiness out.

Jan Brogniez and Stacey Hall - authors of Attracting Perfect Customers and creators of the concept of Strategic Synchronicity are good examples as to the way clearness works to allow someone to become an overnight expert.

Jan explains, Its really not that we are in the magic business, its more that our process which is very strategic in nature, allows people to get very focused on what is perfect for them. And because of that clarity and focus they begin to attract things that seem to come with synchronicity. And they come with more frequency than when we are not clear and not focused.

Stacey continues:

Well, Ive got to share that the inspiration came from within ourselves. Yes it seems strange. Yes others have written about the Law of Attraction, which is the foundation that the strategic attraction process is built on. However, I have to admit I hadnt read anything about the Law of Attraction, and Jan only had a little bit of knowledge about it.

If we first go within, and are clear about what we want to provide, and stay true to that, then we will start to attract people, who want the same thing. That is the Law of Attraction.

It was only after that awareness that we would start to read what others were speaking about the same subject. People, like Wayne Dyer, Laura Day with Practical Intuition, Catherine Ponder in The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity.

Where it begins is by being clear about who you are and whats at your core first. Then youll know why youre doing what youre doing. And who it is you are meant to be serving.

This would be surprising even for some gurus, and sometimes hard for them to accept. As soon as an evolved soul starts serving and loving, a new expert appears to help the world.

Even if others senior gurus dont support her or him with their testimonials, the new guru will unstoppably share with humanity, collaterally creating abundance of health, wealth and happy relationships.

I am not scorning or denying gurus are helping us to grow spiritually. Many marketing gurus can help you increase your business.

The point is you cant give your power to them. When you are really clear about what you want in life, what you love to do, and what your purpose is for being on earth, just go ahead. Carol Tuttle, author of the best-selling book Remembering Wholeness: A Personal Handbook for Thriving in the 21st Century, says it beautifully, Let your life be the next miracle!

If your passion is to write a book, go for it. Even if gurus dont give you a testimonial, you will triumph. As Wayne Dyer suggests, dont be paralyzed by the way others evaluate your capacity.

Of course, this is not a message of rebellion. It is good to have a mentor. Many businesses have grown after hiring one or more consultants.

But if your learn to get clear about what you want and you feel really happy, go ahead without stopping, even if a modern guru evaluates you as going the wrong way. Its your passion, not theirs.

Take into consideration many modern gurus, even spiritual ones, give you only a beautiful testimonial and open support if you have been acting as a consultant to Coca-Cola for many years (more than ten at least.)

Never be disheartened by this. Send love out. Accept that everybody else acts according to the perfection synchronicity of the Universe and youll automatically attract everything and everybody you need to succeed.

Going back to Jan and Stacys case, early on when they stated her mission by including the phrase, generating communities in which millionaires are produced, neither one of them were millionaires.

However, because of their clearness that has become the normal outcome. As Stacey says, Many people came to play with us.

Joe Vitale says about these wonderful girls, When you lead from your heart, clients are attracted to you. Call it magnetic marketing, attraction marketing, or just easy marketing. It's pure wisdom. See what Dr. Vitale says, Pure wisdom. Beautiful!

Everything done, here there is a big lesson for all of us. If you learn to be happy, do what you love to do and whats your mission on earth, your true self will market for you.

Some gurus who doubted Jan and Staceys mission at the beginning now are willing to write testimonials for them.

Even Gurus still have some ego. Ego demands a very loaded background of marketing and data proofs to recommend somebody.

So, I advise you, the beginner, that you have just begun as a human being to discover your greatness. Your spirit is not a beginner. It already knew and knows everything about what happened, what is happening, and what is going to happen.

As gurus teach, lets remind ourselves that the only separate one is ego. All of us are the same sacred self. We are a universal mind and body, wholeness.

Lets support each other. Let us never be indifferent with others. Lets practice the Spiritual Marketing coined by Dr. Joe Vitale.

In this way, abundance will be manifested as a common trait for all human beings reflecting their spiritual beingness. Beingness is coexistence. Coexistence is timeless existence.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined. - Henry David Thoreau. Yeah, learn to get clear. Love yourself and others.

There is one almighty awareness, thinking, compassionate awareness, of which you are from and of, infinitely kind, all knowing, all loving, distant as the furthest mote of dust in space, yet as near as the beating of your heart, here and there, before and after, always and forever. And when-so-ever you should call unto it, it answers you by name Michael Dooley.

Personal Goal Setting Year-Plan

So how will you break down your personal goal setting year plan? Believe it or not, it might be easier for some people to think about what they'll be doing in ten years than it is for them to think about what they'll be doing in one year! A personal goal setting year plan forces you to get into that thought process necessary to organize your goals and objectives for the entire year. You will be able to determine what major milestones you have to achieve and how you will get to that point.

As you tackle your personal goal setting year plan, it is advisable that you start planning either the year before or at the very beginning of the year you are planning for.

As we have done on previous pages, here are a few questions to ask yourself. What exactly is your vision for the year? Without getting too specific think about how you see the year playing out. Imagine yourself in 12 months time, looking back on the year. What does that reflection look like? What does success look like for you in a year's time?

Once you have answered these questions you can use your answers to help formulate your goals for the year. If your year plan involves a trip to the Swiss alps, start visualizing yourself there, this will give you the inspiration you need to start setting goals and feasible plans for that trip.

Here's another question to ask yourself. What is your your mission or duty for the year? Who do you plan on helping? What solutions can you provide? What new skills or qualifications will you develop? These questions help you to think about the action steps toward achieving your goals. Begin to think about the specific strategies or tasks that will help you reach your targets and don't forget to set time lines.

As you continue to map out your personal goal setting year plan, consider setting five key goals. Write them down and as always they must be specific. Your aim should be to have a balanced life, so if you can, try to have goal from all aspects of your life i.e. career goals, business goals and relationship goals.

Once you have your goals for the year set, how often will you review these goals? Write down whether you will review them monthly, weekly or better yet daily. As you review your goals think about how you will measure whether you have been successful in achieving these goals? Write down the milestones or your criteria for determining your definition of success.

Another important part of your personal goal setting year plan is figuring out how you will celebrate after achieving all your goals for the year. Planning, prioritizing and evaluating your yearly goals will ensure that your next 12 months will be truly successful.

Overcoming Difficulties Talking

Is Guilt Feeding on Your Conscience, Affecting Your Subconscious Mind Negatively?

Guilt is one of the largest causes of stress in your life. Stop reading this article for a second and think about the people in your lives that often make you feel guilty.

Now did you really stop reading the article and think about the people in your life who make you feel guilty? Okay well if you did this get back to the guilty feelings so many of us have. Guilt goes all the way back to your childhood, your parents, teachers, friends and relatives have gotten to be pretty good at it over the years, often learning from the same group of people when they were children.

Guilt is definitely a big part of our society and can be found almost everywhere you turn. Have you ever turned the television on to notice a commercial about weight loss. A large majority of Americans are overweight and are targets for a guilt creating society.

I was reading a book on writing magazine articles, when they mentioned a fact that I never thought of, most women's magazines run articles on dieting in every issue. Guilt sells magazines.

Do you think weight loss, dieting or nutritional eating habits, sell magazines? If your answer is no, you should check the financial statements of these companies. They know what sells magazines and guilt or fear is one of their best friends. If you answered yes to the question, you won't have to suffer from the guilt of not knowing the answer.

Guilt seems to work on our subconscious mind in negative ways, often producing harmful thoughts that create stressful feelings in our lives. The longer these negative thoughts are held as truths, the harder it's going to be on our self esteem.

If you find yourself around people that make you feel guilty for something you do or don't do on a regular basis, I would suggest finding new people to hang around with. Gathering negative information from people you consider your friends can only create more damage to your conscience.

If you truly and sincerely do not like something about yourself, tell your friends in a nice way, that you would rather talk about your problems in a negative way. If they have constructive and helpful comments, you would love to hear them. Guilt causes stress and stress can lead to death. If you don't believe that, do some research on stress related illnesses.

Treat Others As You Would Like T

Are You Good All the Time? Spiritual Advice

I wonder how God would feel, if it came down to earth and walked around for a couple weeks, visiting other countries and walking in and out of peoples homes, and they never even knew he was there. What would God really think about the programs we watch on television, how we treat our children and parents, what our conversations consist of and who we really choose to love.

If God came to your home and was just another fly on the wall, you never even knew he was there, would he be proud, would you be okay with the way your living or would he be disappointed. Are you one of those people who goes to church once a week and puts the bare minimum in required, just so you can tell your friends or show your family what a wonderful person you are. But behind the scenes, you're lying, stealing, cheating or doing something else that God wouldn't be proud of.

Is the fear of going to hell enough to keep us in line for the rest of our lives? You know most people live their lives in fear of something and religion seems to be at the top of their list. If they do something morally wrong, like stealing, they start to live in a world of guilt and wonder why they did it. Is it the fear or guilt that starts to eat away at these people. If I do five good deeds, maybe it will wipe out the bad one, you might have to do more good deeds if it's a really big bad one.

Do you live your life like God is watching you all the time? Are you one of those people who does everything right, because you are afraid that the almighty omnipotent all-knowing God is watching everybody, always. In your heart and soul, are you doing everything you can, every single thing possible, that you could think of, to be a good person. Does guilt play a big part in your life? Consciously or unconsciously.

If God was to find you doing something wrong, would you try and explain your way out of it, even though you're talking to God and he knows everything about you. Or would you start apologizing, like you do with everyone you know, I'm sorry god please, please, forgive me for my sins.

What kind of person are you really? Ask yourself this question honestly and if you believe that you can do better with your life, why not put the effort in, for real, really put the effort in and try to become a better version of yourself. Your children, parents and friends are counting on you.

Suffering - Physical, Emotional and Spiritual

1 Peter 4:1,2 ' Think of what Christ suffered in this life, and then arm yourselves with the same resolution that He had: anyone who in this life has bodily suffering has broken with sin, because for the rest of his life on earth he is not ruled by human passions but only by the will of God.'

2 Corinthians 1:3-7 ' Blessed be the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, a gentle Father and the God of all consolation, who comforts us in all our sorrows, so that we can offer others, in their sorrows, the consolation that we have received from God ourselves. Indeed, as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so, through Christ, does our consolation overflow. When we are made to suffer, it is for your consolation and salvation. When, instead, we are comforted, this should be a consolation to you, supporting you in patiently bearing the same sufferings as we bear. And our hope for you is confident, since we know that, sharing our sufferings, you will also share our consolations. '

There are three kinds of sufferings : Physical, Emotional and Spiritual. Physical sufferings can come to us in many different ways. There is just too many causes to write them all down. I'm sure that you could look at them all and see the different ways people suffer. Some are unfortunate instances which are beyond our control, some are caused by our own foolishness, like not using common sense. We cause alot of our own suffering because of our sins, mostly from our bodily passions. People don't like to look at things that we do for fun as sin. They'll come up with all kinds of excuses to justify pleasing themselves. The last two words says it all. Pleasing oneself - isn't this a form of pride? It's about you and no one else. You can go and do everything you want to do to make yourself happy using the things that the world has to offer, but look at the grief and suffering it has caused you along the way. What about the value of these pleasures, do they have any? No, they only become memories, which in time you will waste more time reminiscing. You see, it's still about you. I don't think anyone really wants to go through life suffering, so we are always trying to find ways to make ourselves happy and to please our flesh through our bodily senses and our minds. Look around and see all the different things man has created to please the flesh. It's our sinful nature to become self-absorbed and care about our welfare and being first.

Emotional suffering causes a great of pain to the mind as well as the body. It can cause us to be ill or even worse, nervous breakdown, self-pity, depression, anger, stress and so on. Emotional sufferings main cause is pride. Most of the time when something doesn't go our way, we will react to it in a negative way. We don't like things going wrong for us, we lose our happiness. And until we gain control again, we will not be happy or at peace. And so, man always has to suffer to find happiness. The sad thing is, is that most people would rather suffer for temporary happiness then for happiness, peace and joy that will last forever. Suffering can ruin a person or it can make one strong, it all depends on what one is suffering for. You can look at suffering in a positive way or a negative way. One produces hope, compassion, kindness and love, and the other just flat out produces darkness and that darkness can go deep. Fear, worries and lack of faith will cause a great deal of emotional suffering.

The whole thing behind suffering is how you see it and what you do with it. Jesus suffered here on earth so that He could experience the suffering mankind goes through. The reason Jesus experienced suffering is so that with the tremendous amount of love He has for us, He could have compassion for us and so that He could teach us true love and compassion that we need to have for Him as much as we also need to have for all our brothers and sisters. When we have love and compassion for others, we leave behind the pride of ourselves. When we suffer and we try to give ourselves compassion, we fall into self-pity which is one of the lowest forms of darkness there is. It doesn't matter how much you think you are suffering or how bad it may seem to you, there are millions of other people suffering also, and I'll guarantee you that there is at least one person suffering more than you or you could say, "worse off then you."

Be grateful to God for your suffering, it could always be worse. You also need to look at your suffering in such a way as to how it might be giving someone else a blessing, like a person that might be taking care of you. Thank the Lord for it, appreciate it, and you will turn a negative into a positive. We are not talking about suffering by punishment that one deserves for doing something wrong. There's no merit in that kind of suffering, but make sure you correct yourself and turn a negative into a positive. I know it's hard to appreciate any kind of suffering but it's how we grow spiritually strong in love, gratitude and faith. I would really like to try to explain spiritual suffering, but there is no way that I know how to put it in words. It's something that one needs to experience, as it is with all spiritual things. Some things just can't be put into words.

1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 ' Always rejoice. Pray without ceasing. In ALL THINGS give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you all. God Bless You Suffering Home

Diabetes Mellitus - Easy Methods to Conquer

DIABETES MELLITUS: FALL IN LOVE WITH IT!

Know for sure that once diabetes has taken hold of your body, it has fallen in love with it. The natural corollary is that diabetes won't leave your body!

Then, what do you do with such a headstrong partner?

DIABETES MELLITUS: SLOW & STEADY WINS THE RACE

The crucial moment calls for the accurate shots (diplomatic moves) at the right moment when your opponent (spouse) is at its weakest! As you sing its song, dance to its rhythm and satisfy it with your acquiescence, that's actually the time when you can take control of it.

DIABETES: CONTROL THE MIND TO CURE IT

That's true! Mind control is the cue!

Using this tactic, which become a habit with us, we can cure all ailments including diabetes mellitus.

DIABETES SPREADS SLOWLY BUT SURELY

Medical studies have found that diabetes is not a disease that appears overnight. One thing is for sure, though. Diabetes mellitus can be cured naturally.

The means are yoga and Ayurveda.

YOGA & AYURVEDA

Both yoga and Ayurveda are age-old time-tested means to strengthen the body through natural means.

IGNORE DIABETES MELLITUS: SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES

Obviously once you let a wound fester; it can turn cancerous with disastrous consequences for the sufferer.

DIABETES MELLITUS: A LIFE-LONG PARTNER

So is the case with the ailment, diabetes, or diabetes mellitus: Diabetes is a life-long partner.

Now, how do you adjust with your lifetime mate? Don't you love your spouse, share time together and also take care of each other? You do.

YOU MUST CONTROL YOUR MIND, ELSE...

You can, and should manage your mind. Then, you will insulate your body against all forms of diseases. Else, you'll become a slave of your inclinations or desires. And, know for sure such a lifestyle will land you in a soup! Your body will revolt, the naturally gifted authority to check attacks of germs and viruses will get weakened, and you will very soon be a patient. The moment you give space to such urges one blocks the logical part of the mind. On the other hand, that part of the mind is activated, which makes us feel good. That portion is the manager of all our urges.

So in the above situation, even though the mind does remain active it stays so only partially - hence we feel the pleasures. At that juncture, we fail to reason out or we simply do not like to do any serious thinking. This reasoning capability again comes to the fore once the urge is satisfied.

However, it has been found that sometimes we carry on logical exercises in our minds even as we physically indulge in the pleasurable activities. This typical situation happens when we are under stress. Tension, fatigue, and unknown apprehensions are the catalysts.

PRACTICE YOGA REGULARLY: TACKLE DIABETES SUCCESSFULLY

Yoga is a set of ancient time-proven Indian set of exercises. Yoga helps to synthesize the body of the practitioner (yogi) with his mind. The ancient Indian treatises and folk-lore bear adequate testimony to the fact that yoga can deal with all forms of attacks on the human body - both physical as well as mental. Thus, regular practicing of the mind control exercises through meditation (tapasya), deliberate breathing (pranayama) in particular moves (asanas) give us the magical power to be the masters of our minds!

Procrastination - 3 Little Known Ways to Beat It

Do you have tons of great dreams and goals, but somehow always find yourself procrastinating?

I sure do (well, I used to, anyway). Procrastination sucks!

It sucks to be browsing the web aimlessly, checking twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and a dozen other websites, just to avoid doing work.

So let's put a stop to it! Below, I explain one of the most common causes of procrastination, and how to end it.

What causes procrastination

One day, I had to sweep the living room floor. Except I obviously didn't feel like it. So I was like "I'll just read a book for a bit, and then get to it." After reading I thought "I'm feeling hungry. I'll go buy some bread and eat. Then I'll immediately get started on sweeping." ... "Ah, I'm feeling full right now. I'll just pop online and play some bridge, then I'll get to it." and so on, and so on...

I stopped myself! I realized I was procrastinating because sweeping the floor was bloody boring! So I thought about how to make it fun for myself. And I came up with a solution - make it more challenging!

So I stood on one leg, lifted the other one up while bending my body forward (forming a T-shape) and swept the floor like that, hopping around on one leg! (I also started talking in weird voices and eventually fell over from laughing at myself.)

The point is, we procrastinate about work, like writing a report or oiling the bathroom door's hinges (note to self: aaargh.)

But we never procrastinate about fun! How often do you say "Ah, I have to watch TV, but I don't feel like it right now. I'll go do some accounting first."?

Wait, don't tell me! I'll practice my psychic powers. Ugghhnnghhnngh... got it! The answer you're thinking is... "never"!

(spooky, eh?)

By the way, when I say "work" in this article, I don't mean what you do for a living. I use a broader definition. Fun is something you enjoy doing. Work is something you have to do. (feel free to quote me :))

Let me say that again. Fun is something you want to do. Work is something you have to do.

Now would be a good time to pause and think about it for a moment.

How to end procrastination

Alright! Now let's tackle some little known ways to end procrastination!

1. Be spontaneous and make it fun

Sure, work is something you have to get done. Sounds like you can't be spontaneous about that.

But you can! Instead of being spontaneous about the whole thing, just pick one aspect, make it fun, and go for it!

Like in the example with me swiping the living room floor while hopping around on one foot and talking in weird voices. That's not something I planned three days in advance. I did it on the spur of the moment.

Or, another time, I was really procrastinating about writing a blog post. I sat around for hours struggling with writer's block. Then I was like "Ah, whatever, I'll write the post in iambic pentameter." (the kind of stuff Shakespeare wrote).

I didn't even write the whole post that way, but hey, it got me started!

That's the great thing about spontaneously starting a task in a random way. You probably won't finish the whole task like that. But it gets you started, and then you just keep going.

You've already bypassed the resistance.

2. Set yourself a different task

This is a fantastic little known way to end procrastination!

You can USE procrastination to get something done!

Just set yourself a different task from what you want to get done, for example oiling the squeaky bathroom door (note to self: aaargh!). Write it down. Repeat it to yourself. Tell others you need to get it done. Tell a friend or relative to keep reminding you of it.

Soon oiling the door will become the dominant task you're procrastinating against. It will probably go something like this. "I need to get the door oiled. Wait, there's a show on TV I really need to watch. I'll do it after. (...) The show's ended. I should get the door oiled. But wait, I'm feeling hungry, let me just get something to eat first. (...) I should get the door done now. But I don't feel like it. Let me just write up this 1000-word report, and then I'll do it."

Bam! Problem solved!

You'll procrastinate against this new task you set... by doing the task you wanted to get done in the first place. You basically replaced the procrastination around your 1000-word report with a stronger procrastination around oiling the bathroom door.

3. Get immersed in the moment

This one doesn't work every time (the previous two do!). But if it works, it's really great in the long run. Try finding a way that you can enjoy the process in itself, not just the end result.

Maybe pay attention to the smallest details. Get absorbed in the process. Do it slowly and deliberately, while breathing deeply.

The trouble with work is that you're usually focused on the end result. This prevents you from enjoying the process. But if you find a way to enjoy the process, you're going to kill the
procrastination right there. You'll turn the task into fun - something you do for its own sake!

So there you go. Next time you're procrastinating about boring tasks, just start jumping around on one foot, start singing, and remember how badly your bathroom door needs oiling (note to self: aaargh!).

How to Stay Motivated All the Time!

Think back to the last time you felt that streak of motivation coursing through you. You were more organized, focused, and decided to do whatever was needed to achieve your goal. Nothing could stop you! But what happened? The fire quickly burned out. You started making excuses as to why you couldn't accomplish your goal. You returned to your old habits. Your comfort zone. (Even if it isn't all that comfortable!)

Soon you read another book or listen to another speaker and your motivation spikes and you repeat the scenario all over again. The fact is that it's not hard to GET motivated, it's STAYING motivated where most people fail. As humans we don't like change or challenge, even if it means giving up on our dreams.

So how do you stay motivated? What can you do right here and now that will push you out of your comfort zone and into a place where you steadily reach your goals and dreams? How do you move forward even when challenges get in your way at every turn?

*You need a strong goal with focus. Not just something like, "I want to lose weight. I really need to lose weight. I have to get rid of this weight!" Take a look at where you're at now and where you want to be. Set a reasonable time frame for accomplishing the goal then set up mini-goals along the way. For instance, say your goal is to lose 50 pounds. You didn't put the weight on over night, so don't expect it to fall off within days or weeks. Give yourself a reasonable time frame of one year to lose it. Your mini-goal is one pound a week. One pound a week is definitely doable! How will you lose the weight? Moderate exercise three times a week? Cutting out on sugary and fatty foods? Make it something easy that you can stick with. You want to keep your motivation level consistent not a constant roller coaster!

*Focus on the end results. Most worthy goals take time. Say you have your own business and you're trying to increase your income. First you cut out some non-essentials that will help your budget and maybe you bring in a few new clients or contracts. Right now this may seem like mere pennies in a bucket, but over time these small steps add up. Energy works on inertia. It's hard to get it moving, but once it does there's often a snowball effect! If you focus on where you want to be, it's easier to take steps daily that will help get you there. "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step."

*Constant reminders. Out of sight equals out of mind. Don't lose sight of your dreams! Write down your goals on a card and carry it with you. Make it a habit to read this several times a day-in the morning, at lunch, and in the evening. Many multi-millionaires have used this tip to stay focused and remind themselves of their goals. Write your goals on Post-its and stick them around the house. Send yourself a motivational voicemail and listen to it daily, or at least when you find your energy failing.

*Tell others. By letting friends and family know that we're pursuing our goals it makes it a bit more difficult to toss it aside when we lose our motivation. Pride often keeps us going. When someone asks you, "Hey, how's your project going?" You don't want to reply, "Oh, I lost motivation. I gave up. I couldn't do it." (Oh you may have a list of other excuses, but basically that's what you're saying.)

Staying motivated takes practice, but it's a skill anyone can learn. The more changes you see in your life, however small at first, the more incentive you have to tackle more and more goals. You CAN change your life. It doesn't matter where you currently are that matters, the future is up to you!

Learning From The Four Agreement

How Do You Stay Positive If You Are Suffering?

"Keep your chin up," you hear from friends, family and well-intentioned people when Life starts dealing an unfavorable hand. While you suffer inside with tremendous worry, fear and pain, a solution or light at the end of the tunnel may seem nowhere in sight. 'It's easy for them to say,' you think. They've not walked a mile in your shoes.

Or, those same people may remind you that you don't have it so bad...'Take a look at so-and-so, they have it worse off than you!' Again, this is well-meaning intention designed to, perhaps, help you put things in perspective. Yet, you still suffer. You're still walking around in the same shoes. Each of our sufferings may be relative, but they are ours and cause just as much grief - fear, worry and pain are universal.

How can you possibly keep your chin up and feel positive when you've lost your job, your home is in foreclosure, a loved one is dying, you've been diagnosed with something awful or anything else that is causing you emotional pain and mental distress? While what follows may not magically make things perfect, it will, most definitely, help put you in a positive state so that you are better able to deal with and possibly remedy the suffering:

Gratitude.

Not necessarily gratitude towards your suffering, but gratitude towards all the happy and positive things in your present and past. Try to take some time out each day - even just 5 or 10 minutes - to sit quietly in a state of gratitude towards any person, thing or event in which you were truly grateful. Re-experience the emotional gratitude, not just the mental thought. If you rewind through time, you will be able to come up with a thousand different things from a close parking space when you really needed it to a person who did something wonderful for you to a miracle taking place in your life. It can be as simple as a moment sharing an ice cream cone with your child. See the moment, remember how it felt, remember the taste of the ice cream, remember how happy your child was...and express gratitude from your heart for being able to experience that moment.

In the face of a painful life situation, you can try to attempt to 'stay positive' or 'think happy thoughts.' Yet, this is a mental trick of the mind because, deep down, you know things are rotten. Emotionally, the stuff is still there and simply trying to Be Positive (in your head) will not create a real and lasting change within you.

Gratitude, however, is on a far higher plane than worry, fear and emotional pain. It is in a different dimension that your mind cannot possibly understand. Your heart - or your emotional center - understands it, though. By retraining your heart or reintroducing it to that higher plane through the practice of gratitude, feeling positive becomes real and not a trick of the mind. Keeping your chin up becomes effortless.

From there, because you will be able to relate from that higher state, by mind or through miracle, you will see your life situation begin to change in a positive way and quite possibly in ways never imagined.

What is Your Resiliency Quotient, Or "RQ"?

Let's face it; this reality is not a piece of cake. The life of hard knocks can destabilize the best of us. The real question is how "Resilient" are you in all of this? Want to assess your Resiliency Quotient or "RQ"?

Resilience is not what many "think it is. Often it's equated with the ability to "cope" or "bounce back". In fact it goes much deeper that this.

In truth it relates to one's ability to not let in bad energies into one's mind, body, heart and energy field ever! One's Resilience has been shown to correlate with the level of stress one experiences and this also correlates with the incidence of various illnesses, the rate of aging, and premature death to name a few.

To have Resilience means therefore to be able to:

1. Maintain ones inner emotional balance in a positive state even when all hell is breaking lose around you.

2. Remain detached from but able to observe calmly what is going on around you.

3. Avoid having your vital life energy from ever being depleted from your mind and body in spite of the circumstances you find yourself in.

4. Hold a joyful, positive, optimistic outlook even in the worst situations.

5. Live life effortlessly and in a stress free way without allowing it to take a toll on your physical, mental or emotional state.

So, how many people do you know fall into this category? Probably very few if any! In fact you might even be wondering if what I am describing is even humanly possible, correct?

Well I can tell you that indeed it is but not through the strategies that currently exist here. There is a new modality that I have developed the name of which is described in my bio below that helps one achieve just this state of Resilience.

I have also developed a tool that can help you assess and monitor what I call the Resiliency Quotient or "RQ" which is a short self administered questionnaire that quantitatively gives you an idea of where you are in terms of Resilience. Feel free to take it now if you wish:

The Resiliency Quotient:

In the following items please rate yourself on a scale of 0 to 3:

Where: 0 = Never, 1=Some of the Time, 2= Most of the Time and 3 = Always

1. I feel tired at the end of the day.

2. I tend to dwell on the negative events of the day.

3. I tend to worry about things.

4. I need to have a predictable and structured life.

5. I am an emotionally sensitive person.

6. I feel my energy level is depleted by negative people around me.

7. I feel my energy level is depleted by negative situations in my life.

8. I react negatively to world events I have no control over.

9. I dwell on the worst potential outcomes of a situation.

10. I am pessimistic about the future.

11. I feel vulnerable and exposed to external situations I can't control.

12. I need to feel in control of what is going on around me.

Now add up all of your scores and divide by 36. This is your Resiliency Quotient.

If you total score is:

1. Less that 0.25 then you are a very Resilient individual

2. Between 0.25 and 0.50 then your Resiliency could use a tune up as you are at some risk of sliding into more serious territory.

3. Greater than 0.75 then your Resilience is quite low and you may be at significant risk for a negative emotional, mental, physical and energetic outcome.
