You are powerful. So are your thoughts. The right thoughts will cause your online business to explode with incredible success. In life, you attract whatever you focus on. This truth is the essence of the law of attraction. So what do you want to attract? What do you want to create?
In order to create a great life of prosperity and abundance, you must focus on prosperity and abundance. With the current economic upheavals it is very easy to focus on the financial challenges instead. Sometimes it seems as if "recession," (the R-word) has become a media obsession.
But what would happen if you made a different choice? What if you took the limits off and chose instead to focus on what God is calling you to create in your life? What would be your reality?
For thoughts of prosperity and abundance to be central, you will have to surround yourself with positive people. Negative people bring negative energy into your life and pull you down. Spend less time with any negative people in your life. You will have to choose to be around positive, abundant people.
"I don't know any positive people," you may say. How do I find them? Pray. Ask God to bring positive people into your life. Create an affirmation like - "Successful people want to hang out with me." Or "Positive, joyful people love being around me."
Try going on a media fast. Cut out all media for a month. Don't read the paper. Don't watch the news or listen to it on the radio or online. How do you feel? What are you thinking about? Do you have more or less thoughts about the recession?
What impact does this discipline have on your relationships? Do you have more or less arguments with your family members? Are you more or less patient with people? Journal your experience of the media fast. When you've completed the fast make a conscious choice about how much media contact you want to experience.
Focus on what gives you joy and gets you excited. For me, it's music and children. Recently I experienced some challenges with my business as I was learning some new technology. Many times I wanted to throw my computer out the window. Yet when I played funky, Cuban or African music and danced around my apartment, my energy level soared. As I imagined being with the girls in my Girl Guide unit and playing with them I'd start to smile.
Hold the mental image of something that gives you life. Visualize yourself playing with your kids or dancing or walking in the park. Breathe into that vision. During your visualization inhale into your heart area and exhale imagining your breath leaving the solar plexus area. You will be amazed how quickly you become energized as your thoughts shift.
Practice visualization or prayer. List some positive affirmations. Read your affirmations repeatedly, daily - first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
Then watch your business unfold and soar!
